hello@herinnerbalance.com
In plain language: We collect only the information needed to operate the website, process purchases, provide coaching, communicate with you, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Her Inner Balance (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit this website, create an account, purchase a coaching program or membership, communicate with us, or use our nutrition and wellness services.
By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, username, and account preferences.
- Purchase information: selected program, payment option, order history, subscription status, invoices, and transaction identifiers.
- Coaching and intake information: goals, food preferences, lifestyle details, health history, symptoms, and other information you voluntarily provide for coaching.
- Communications: messages, support requests, discovery-call details, surveys, and feedback.
- Technical information: IP address, browser, device, referring pages, cookies, and website activity.
3. Health and Sensitive Information
Nutrition coaching may involve information that is personal or sensitive. We ask that you provide only information reasonably needed for your coaching relationship. We use this information to personalize services, support progress, communicate with you, and maintain appropriate service records.
Her Inner Balance is not a hospital, medical practice, or emergency service. Do not submit urgent medical information through website forms or email.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- process orders and manage customer accounts, payment plans, subscriptions, and memberships;
- deliver coaching, onboarding, resources, and customer support;
- send transactional messages, appointment information, and service updates;
- personalize the website and improve programs and content;
- protect the website, prevent fraud, and enforce our policies;
- meet accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations; and
- send marketing communications where permitted, subject to your right to unsubscribe.
5. Payments and WooCommerce
Our store uses WooCommerce to manage products, orders, customer accounts, and subscriptions. Payment information is processed by the payment method available at checkout. When an online payment gateway is connected, full card details are generally handled by that payment provider rather than stored directly by Her Inner Balance.
Payment providers maintain their own privacy and security practices, and their policies also apply to information they process.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use essential cookies for account login, cart and checkout functions, security, language preferences, and website performance. Optional analytics or marketing technologies may also be used where enabled and legally permitted.
You may control cookies through your browser. Disabling essential cookies can prevent account, cart, checkout, or subscription features from working correctly.
7. When We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate the website and deliver services, such as hosting, email, scheduling, payment, accounting, analytics, and customer-support providers.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.
8. Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, customer support, business records, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of record.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use strong account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To make a request, email hello@herinnerbalance.com. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained where legally required.
10. Children’s Privacy
This website and its purchasing features are not directed to children who cannot legally consent to online services in their location. A parent or legal guardian should contact us before providing a child’s personal or health-related information.
11. Updates and Contact
We may update this Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to hello@herinnerbalance.com.
